Chirag is an entrepreneur and venture capital investor with a strong track record of operating and investing across healthcare, physical technology, and consumer products. His experience spans early-stage venture investing, company building, and late-stage growth exposure, providing him with a differentiated perspective across the innovation lifecycle.
Previously, Chirag was an active investor through several venture platforms, including ATOMS VC, an early-stage fund focused on hard technology; Alumni Ventures, a multi-stage, generalist venture firm; and SPRIG Equity, a late-stage investor in medical technology companies. Through these roles, he has evaluated and supported companies at varying stages of maturity, with a particular emphasis on capital-efficient growth, product-market fit, and commercialization of technically complex products.
In addition to his investing activities, Chirag is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Tego, a consumer physical-technology company developing magnetic wall outlet solutions. As an operator, he has led product development, manufacturing strategy, go-to-market execution, and capital raising, which provides him with firsthand insight into the challenges faced by early-stage founders bringing hardware-enabled products to market.
Chirag’s academic background reflects his interdisciplinary approach to innovation. He is a former M.D. candidate at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience and Data Science from Northwestern University. His combined training in medicine, data-driven analysis, and entrepreneurship enables him to evaluate healthcare and technology investments with both clinical rigor and commercial discipline.
